Tattoos are a powerful form of self-expression. Through the tattooing process, individuals reclaim their bodies as their own and transform their skin into a canvas that reflects their unique personal narrative. In this way, tattoos serve as a form of empowerment, enabling the individual to take ownership of their self and body and express themselves in a way that goes beyond societal norms and expectations.
