This photo collection invites you on a journey through parenthood, a rich and complex experience that encompasses a wide range of emotions and perspectives. As a photographer, my aim is to capture the multifaceted realities of parenthood through my lens, showcasing the global similarities in tender moments of a mother holding her new-born or dynamic experiences of fathers bonding with their children. I recognise that parenthood is somewhat similar in principles across different cultures but shaped by a diverse range of factors, including individual, cultural, and social influences, and is experienced differently by each individual. I hope through these photographs viewers see these similarities in a global context and embrace the diversity and complexity of this universal human experience.
