HOMELESSNESS
As a photographer, I am constantly drawn to the stories of those who are marginalised and overlooked by society. Through my lens, I aim to capture the humanity and dignity of those affected by homelessness, while also raising awareness of the issues that they face. It is my belief that every individual has a story to tell, and it is my responsibility as a photographer to capture those stories with sensitivity and compassion. For this reason, I never take photos of the faces of those experiencing social challenges such as homelessness, out of respect for their privacy and dignity. My work in this area aligns with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG #10 and #11, which seek to create equitable, sustainable, inclusive, and resilient communities. By highlighting the issue of homelessness through my photography, I hope to contribute to a broader conversation about how we can work together to address this critical issue and how easy it is actually to resolve this issue if we decide to create a more just and equitable society for all.
